Replacing/Upgrading Seats... Will Ford Taurus Seats Fit?

Odd, odd question

The seats in my truck are not worn but the hurt my arthritic back badly and the drivers seat is saggy in the middle.. They need new foam and such and its roughly $200-$400 for both


I can't find any used 95-01 Explorer seats in leather or the nicer sport buckets in cloth... In Portland OR.....

I have a set of 05 Ford Taurus Seats collecting dust however.. They dont match, but the drivers seat is powered

Wondering if i could unbolt the basic track and such off one and put it on the other and make them work..

Also are there any other compatible seats that will fit in explorers? I've tried amd tried to find options but no luck

Measure the bolt pattern holding the seat to the base. if they're the same you can swap the bases. Otherwise I doubt they'd be a direct bolt-in.
