I'll quickly write some of the addresses of the companies that caught my eye. Most of them don't have new product for the Explorer, but some are either working on them, or I've talked to them about some new products.
Warrior Products
Talked to them about their new line of products for the Explorer. He said that once they put out the info in their catlog the product sales went through the room. Suggested to them they may wana look into Half door, Skid Plates, and a rear tire carrior.
Bonarue
This was a smaller company that is selling a carrior that slides into a receiver hitch. This one though looks alot tuffer than the others that are out there.
Air Lift Company
These guys offered a line of air compressors and air bags that were mostly for lowriders. They did have a compressor that works for some Chevy's, but I looked in the book and it listed at about $1000. This was much like the York Compressor but allows you to continue to use the AC compressor. Nice display they had though.
Advance Adapters
They had an amazing handout. Almost gave you details on how to swap Tcases or whatever info you may need on the swaps. They had about 4 books full of info. Can't wait to read up on this one. They did say they were doing some tests with a Ranger for some new products. All the tests were with a 302.
B.I.T. Snorkels
Not sure on this product. They had a few snorkels there, but nothing for the X. Sent them an email, but no responce as of yet.
Detroit Locker
The Detroit Locker isn't coming out till the first part of next year sometime. Don't count on it being offered for the Dana 35 anytime soon. The 8.8 though may come down the line. It will be a full time posi when you have it turned off, but once you flip the switch it's a full hard locker. Really impressed me!
LightForce
They had their new H.I.D's on display. Will be the same bulb and ballest as the Hella's, but almost 2" larger. It will turn out to be about 9.5" with the same housing as the other LightForce products. Starts at about $1200 for a set. Too rich for my blood.
