It's funny how the zuk is so lite it just flexs over the dirt. The explores are heavy pigs and only flex a little as they are plowing through the dirt:D

I think it has a lot more to do with Tom's fab work than a light truck... It didn't flex at all, with the leaf springs;)

hey guys sorry i couldnt make it out funds got really low and just couldnt afford it but i am getting my rims and tires on this week and soon to follow is the body lift so i will def be coming out to the next run just let me know when it will be

Ok, I uploaded Gopher's pics so, now this trip starts with this photo:

Next AZ trip you come out for I will pick one out for you to bring, or next truckhaven trip.
Those things are bad ass.

I am pissed I missed this one. Oh well Baby makes 4

So Danny the U bolts broke and then the Autofab shock mount tabs ripped off?

Friggin sweet! That sucker can take some abuse hua?
(seriously considering Autofab D44 TTB kit)

well, the shocks were still mounted to the stock Explorer plates on the bottom of the SUA setup, therefore when the ubolts broke the shocks flopped around.

I'm giving this credit to the fact that this truck spent a lot of it's life in San Diego (salt air environment) then went to Milwaukee and didn't get used much (salt road environment) and the aftermarket parts are all pretty rusty from spending time sitting and getting eaten up. I didn't look closely but about 30 seconds after my arrival when all the guys were looking at my truck it was pointed out that my shackle was cracked and about to go.

I still opened this sucker up nearly 75 mph in the wash and ran the hell out of it on Saturday. I guess when your tow rig is on 37s and you don't really care where your truck brakes you'll take the chances I'm willing to take.

I think this is a sign to get this suspension off of this truck and get my other suspension (44 & 8.8) under this thing.

I would do anything to make it one year but its 1400 miles from Houston

but even if i did make my 2wd couldnt keep up

Gopher is 2wd and usually leads the stock trucks around. If you have a rear locker, it's just as good as a stock 4wd with open diffs. Come on out!!

the locker is going in this summer but that still doesnt solve the 1400 mile problem

Go for Moab.. :D

Do you guys ever meet up during the summer? That would be an awesome vacation.

MOAB 2007 in May and yes they meet all year round, Truckhaven is just a bit hot during the summer months though, as is Moab, the Mountains is where we head during this time.

Danny it would be a real shame IMO to remove the Autofab stuff from that truck, wouldnt you rather put your D44 under a new project then this thing?

if not how much? hahaha

Not usually since it get's to ~112* out there during summer months.
