Glad to hear that everything turned out all right...
...and thanks again for making the drive up.

So are you gonna be able to fix the Navajo in time to make Ritsui's snud run?

Sounds like an interesting weekend for you RJ. But glad everyone and their trucks made it out ok.

...mad, not me, lol...but i might laff and say i told ya so...:p:...but after such a good story as the one you just told, it sounds like it is doing ok...:D

...btw, i took ten shots of my ranger flexin' and i like the one you took the best,,,my new avatar...;)

i love all the pics where you can see the snow falling :afro:

probably have the jo fixed by wednesday/thursday. but i need to take some pics of how muddy it is, outside and inside!!!! thats right, its even mudier than it was after the big bear run

ill look into the ritsui run. but i might be busy or workin on the car (last weekend before truckhevan right?)

,,,cyber, did you get the rest developed???...

...boomer, i was up at 2 this morning and they had a tornado watch for santa barbara...it's trying to snow on the low hills down here and i was thinking...you have a few days off and we haven't heard from you especially with all that new snow up there...what gives...

I was planning on letting my truck rest after that little excursion up side-show, but I may make a quick run up there tomorrow or Sat. It was just starting to come down yesterday on my way home from work, but I'm not sure how much snow they're gonna get.

Btw it's been trying to snow at my house all morning, and I know they've been having some problems in the Cajon pass.

...i just heard they got 10-18" at mountain high and it's to continue snowing at 4000' ft and the next big part of this storm is sat-sun with snow at 7000'...
...they say they got 18" plus they expect another 3' in running springs..:p:
...i take it the locker checked out just fine...:D

Yeah the locker was just fine, and the guy even fixed a little damage that I did to one of the brakes for free. Just called my dad, and he said they got about 8 inches but that it was real dry and the wind was blowing it into 2+ ft. drifts.

So are you interested in a little run?

...you know better than to ask me, lol...it might be slick enough up there now i can take my X...:D

...Idea's on where???

I'm thinking that we could go to the Pinnacles area by Ritsui's house. There's not as many trails, but it's closer.

We have about 10-12" now and it's expected to keep snowing on and off for several days. Most areas above 4000 feet are similar.

It's definitely happy puppy weather :p:

BTW, for good or ill our local streets are NOT plowed yet.

No kidding :). I was shoveling out a path to the firewood earlier and didn't realize she was standing right next to the wood shed until I got to it and she nearly jumped me .

dang those are some sweet pics glad u guys had fun i wish i knew about this big bear meet i would have gone myself.

...i'm easy on location but i have a few things to do...when do you want to do this, fri-sat???...either day may be total chaos just getting up there with all the city folk heading up and road conditions...
...it might be happy puppy weather for your dog but mine hates having to wheel it out of my footprints, lol...:D

next time if u guys go to big bear let me know i might be able to join u guys if i am free

...you are welcome to come but you will def need 4wd to keep up...;)
