Okay I have searched, so I have seen plenty of pictures and the installation stuff

I am getting ready to pull my instrument cluster for a few reasons, 1 to install a new headlight switch, 2 to clean, 3 to swap to a different OD from the truck that donated my engine, etc

So I figure I would pick up a set of 1996 Reverse Glow gauges for my Ex
Just the white ones, no flames or anything.
My question is

Who has them and how do you like them???
Which brand to get or Ebay seller did you use?

Is anyone running a carbon fiber bezel or other bezel with the gages?

pictures and comments welcome :)

Thanks!

SkanlaxJMO - your oil and battery needles look and hopefully are WAY off. You've got some crazy oil pressure in the night picture!

I have the same ones as Drew ^^^^^

Anybody notice the overlays making your needles kinda sticky?
That is why I removed mine, sometimes the speedo wouldn't move till you were going 30 mph.Tach response was also slowed--maybe just the brand I had.

My overlays did it. I took the factory black off and used spray glue to adheir the overlay to the cluster. Problem solved.

You can also back the needles off some so they dont cetch.

oh my truck was off......haha my tach reads 800 rpm high....i might fix it this weekend.....also i have had the stickeness on mine too i think i might try and fix that this weekend too...ill keep you updated on what happens.

The other pic i had a bad alternator so....thats why the battery gauge was way off....the oil pressure thing is strange it reads all the way up and when i change my oil when i first start the truck it goes to the middle and once it circulates the gauge goes up all the way.

hi i have a 91 and bought some off ebay. they were kinda simple to install. and after i was done they looked great. really set mine apart from others. i kno not the same year but just thoght i could give u alittle insight. i would send a pic but havent figured how to work this site out yet.

Ebay ones from my 99 sport. I used spray adhesive and had no problems with needles sticking.

I will never ever buy them again. I did the glow and the reverse glow. They really screw up your needles in cold weather. they also do not line with well with the cluster lights, like 4wd and etc
