Right side, 2 piece control arm

I'm not going to toss this out and buy a one piece. I've already got the other part of the twp piece from rock auto. I replaced the bushing and the only way it's going back in there is if I press them partway back out. Can I do that? It's quite literally impossible to get it in as is. It's a half inch, at least, too small. Yes, I got the correct parts.

I ran into the same problem
Both bushings have to be pressed in 3\4 of the way
You will need an alignment but you already know that

Thanks! Internet was insisting they needed to be pressed all the way, but I was sure that couldn't be accurate. Already pressed them back out, but wanted confirmation before I put I all back together.

If you run the one piece passenger side you will need alignment shims
