So my Service Engine light came on yesterday, and I am noticing at stoplights/stop signs, that my moutaineer idles roughly like it is running out of gas.

Today I went to Autozone to use their code reader and while it was in the parking lot running it died twice.

Car seems to operate fine when driving no power issues or sluggish performance.

Codes came back as "P0171"- fuel trim bank one condition
"PO174"- fuel trim bank two condition

Now I don't know what that means, but autozone explanation was
1. Suspect fuel pressure or Mass Air Flow sensor.
2. Fuel injector problem

New mass air flow at autozone runs $120 and seems easy enough to install(i am a novice(can change brakes, rotors, spark plug wires))

But she mentioned the fuel injector is much more indepth and would probably be done my mechanic..

Any ideas which one is more probable... Mass Air Flow seems easy enough, but would hate to spend $150 and have the same problem and have to replace fuel injector(cost?)

Just saw that other topic where everyone seemed to fix their issue by finding a cracked hose. Going home to look at it now.
