rust spots

hi i have had two 92 explorers and both have had rust problems under the back 2 passanger doors. do most 91-94 explorers have this problem and does any one have any tips to fix or help the problem. at this moment only one side has rusted all the way through. Also does any one have an estimate on what it would cost to fix this. thank you

Yup mines the same . Its very common 91-92 I think they had it fixed 93-94 ,not sure. They make replacement panels for it not sure of price. Watch out for front fenders just in front of door, and above gas filler door these are bad spots too.
My estimate with new metal and full paint was 2000.00 (CDN)cant say for U.S.,your not alone thats for sure. Good luck.
