OK here's the deal. I just finished installing a set of Warrior shackles on my 94. While it did raise the rear end a few inches it also did something I wasn't thinking it would do. Now both of my leaf-springs are almost flat. That's got me worried. Will this cause the springs to break or go even softer as before????? Is this normal??? Did I install the shackles wrong, or do I just have springs that are too worn out to support the new load??? It's weird though because now all of a sudden I've got some killer travel from the rear end. I was able to jack up the rear with a Hi-Lift jack to just about 4 feet in the air.....all four tires on the ground with some spring to go
))) and that's with the sway-bars attached. But if I'm going to damage my truck I'll go ahead and take them off or replace the springs(just not sure when I can do that one....no money+vacation=one broke 4x4er) What do you think??
