School me - Looking at a 98 V8 Explorer

There will be an afterthought-looking little box with an in-line fuse installed in the harness going to the CC disconnect switch (that's what's been failing and causing fires). This switch is located on top of the brake master cylinder. But even if you see the fix, do confirm that the recall was done and it's not someone's improvisation -- just call any Ford dealer with the VIN number, and they will tell you.
