Send mapquest to sync, etc...

Ok,
hate the archaic mapquest,
but got it to find my rv vacation destinations easier than on the mft...
told it to send each destination to the car ...
went to car and said services and it downloaded only the last of the three entries...
said go and it seems to take that...

BUT,
it didn't save it in previous destinations nor did it download the other of the three entries....

Real Cute
now I have to go enter each one again,
walk out to the car each time,
download it,
drive 300 miles to the first destination,
come back home and load the second destination,
drive 400 miles and then repeat ?!?!


Sooo, tried poi search and have NO idea what category Ford would put that under ...

tried to enter address directly for a quick overnight @ an rv park like:
Miss Ellie's RV Park
1517 Interstate 20
Waskom, TX 75692
(903) 687-3688

I couldn't find it the first 2 or 3 ways I tried nor will it let me enter the EXACT address...

it ask for all kinds of variations of I-20E south, I-20W, North I-20W, etc....
this navigation sure doesn't make it easy ?!?:thumbdwn:


guess I'll keep my easy to use Garmin that can find everything easily and/or my tablet, and/or my laptop, and/or our smartphones....
cuz the MFT doesn't get it still...

Maybe I haven't studied it enough to learn it's quirks,
but why should I have to do that ?!? it should be more intuitive... like google or smartphones or....

Guess that's what we get when we have non-users designing something !!!

I am only successful with mapquest download about half of the time. Back when it was Google, it worked great.

Mapquest has worked for me, but I often use the Send to Car app to send addresses from Google Maps on an iPhone to Sync. An Android version of the app is also available.

+1 for send to car app. This uses google maps and mapquest only works with a PC or laptop
