Ive got a 98 AWD and the rear is drooping. I noticed it the other day and am tired of the "Lazy rear" look. Ive hear people say that shackles will help and so will add-a-leaf.

I was just wondering which one is easier to install, cheaper, and will level the truck out better.

I carry about 150 lbs of subs in the back so i think thats the problem.

Shackles are easier to install, and will boost up the back more. AAL will lift a little bit, but not as much. It will also stiffen the rear, whereas shackles will not. I believe AAL is 10-20 bucks more expensive. However, shackles won't look as good, with how they "hang down"

I would say go with both, it might lift your rear too much for your taste though.. but the way I see it, AAL.. put some strength back into those tired springs and then shackles to lift your frame a bit more for a little added clearance.

I agree with using both if you're sagging badly. Then adjust the front torsion bars to even it out if necessary.

Or get new springs if you're really concerned about it.

I think i might go with shackles. The rear isnt sagging terribly bad but its noticable and as soon as I get some money (just spend $380 getting new O2 sensors) Ill get shackles.
