Here's a run down of the problem. Awhile back I had the reverse band break and lost reverse. Trans shop replaced the band along with the others, installed a TransGo shift improver kit. They said all other internals were good.
A year or so later it would randomly flash the O/D light. O/D would not engage unless I entered the freeway with O/D button off and then turn the O/D on once up to speed. Now it won't go into O/D at all. I tried to see if it had compression braking when manually keeping it in first, none. Sometimes the O/D light will blink even with the button off and the RPM seems too high when accelerating and the shifts are harsher than normal. If I restart the engine it goes away. I haven't tried to pull any codes yet. Thoughts?
