Ive been having a problem for a while where my 97 SOHC wouldnt idle at inital start, but after a while, after warm up, she would run fine and idle ok. but now, she wont idle at all, i had to drive to school today with two feet, not that its hard (im a drummer, so i can move them differently easily), but i shouldnt have to do this. It doesnt sputter, so it cant be a hose leak. once i take my feet off the gas, it just dies like your turining the key off. I think its my IAC or could it be something else. Maby this has something to do with the knocking at start up? What do you think?
My throtel cable is loose, could that cause it too? My truck is still showing signs on an IAC problem, which im replacing today, but how do you tighten it, if at all?
