Shopping: V6 or V8 Mustang

A bit off topic, but.....I'm about to buy a 94 mustang GT 5.0 with 80k miles (mostly long highway miles) from a close friend of mine....it runs great stock but I was considering modding it....anyone know more about this year mustang/engine and how it responds to mods?

I figure: intake, headers, xpipes and borla mufflers, and a vortech s/c

would probably give nice results....opinions?

not that he even mentioned that he wanted an F body... you can fix about 98% of the rattling issues with subframe connectors. if i were to keep one bone stock that is one mod i would do.

I've checked out stangnet - the only issue seems to be that, living in Maine, most people with vehs in the classified adds are half way across the country!

man, go find you a 94-95 GT. Same body style as the 96-98 and the 5.0 is a far better motor than the 4.6 could ever be.
