shorted locks, mirrors on 93xlt

I was trying to help my brother with his POS 93 4dr XLT that needed new door hinge pins. While pulling the door out I didn't think of disconnecting the battery and had a pop, snap smoke for a couple seconds. I cannot find any blown fuses anywhere in the truck but his power windows and power door locks are not working. i think I shorted out the wires, maybe on bare metal but am really clueless on where the problem exactly came from.

Any clues on an easy fix for this?
