Late September '07 was "Cinnamon Pass", mid October '07 i did "Engineer Pass".
There was much more snow in the Engineer Pass pics.

For those considering doing one (or a few) of the Silverton / Ouray trails this year....
I am told all trails are open (in that area) except Black Bear.
Conditions vary, but i was told by quad riders there that all are passable.
I was also told that some were still very wet / muddy / possibly hazerdous.
But i did 2 easy ones, Cinnamon (again) and Ophir passes.
Both were relatively dry and stable. And quite easy with a stock (mostly) Bronco 2.
My suggestion if you try it with a stock 2.9 Bronco2/ Ranger though is to bring extra antifreeze.
You will need low range at the peaks, and because of the altitude your radiator may boil over even if the temp guage is only 1/2 to 3/4.

Here's some pics from Ophir pass. July 5th 2008.
