My Sirius Travelink weather radar has not worked for a few weeks. I thought maybe doing the upgrade to 3.5 might get it going again, but no luck. The current weather and 5 day forecast work fine, but no radar.

Does anyone know the fix?

I don't know if this is a Sirius or Sync problem.

Thanks

Well, the fix from the previous software was popping out the Navigation SD Card for 10 seconds and then popping it back in.

The other fix is to reboot MFT -> go to www.outofmytouch.com and go to the section titled "MFT Acting Up?" and download the reboot file.

Every time I have the spinning wheel symbol with any category of travel link I use the reboot app if it doesn't correct itself in a couple of days. Always works for me.
It's great to use after an update too. Clears out all the junk I guess. I keep a usb loaded with it in the glove compartment. Good luck.

OK! Why is it called a glove compartment/box? Anybody know the history?
Anybody ever put gloves in it? he he

From Wikipedia: The name derives from the original purpose of the compartment, to store gloves. (Often in a box on the floorboard near the driver, hence "glovebox".)
Gloves were originally worn to keep the hands clean. Driving gloves were considered necessary equipment in early cars, many without a hard top, to prevent the cooling effect of fast-moving air from numbing drivers' hands.

Thanks for the input. Oddly enough. A few hours after I did the upgrade, the radar started working again. However, I'm sure I will use your input in the future.

Hey, deerfarm!

If it happens again, please let me know so I can report it to my support. I'm glad it's working for you now. :)
