Skyjacker 6"lift question.

hey spashman, how much would you want for those brackets, if they havent been sold? $60+shipping? Pm me, please.

Sounds good to me. How soon do you need them though? I plan on getting back to remove the entire lift and ship off the parts to buyers by mid Aug or sooner. New baby in the house is kind of priority over everything right now, hope ya understand.

understand perfectly; im a new dad myself. 2 1/2 mth old baby boy! im not in a hurry

hey Brian... still have shocks? I thought you mentioned something about shocks.......

OK... I've got two front shocks that came with the lift... they seem a little short... and I finally found rear ones at National tire and wheel...

by Sunday my truck should be rolling out of the garage... lots of work has been done since I parked it.... not enough room here to list everything....
:)
I just want to say that it was not easy - as with every project... when you take two steps forward you have to take one step back...

You may beat me then Dre,
I'm still waiting on the shockboots that Superlift forgot to ship me, and my brake lines are taking forever to get here. Other than that I'm done tho.
good luck this weekend.

hey... you never know. My front pig is still at the shop... brake lines are in, shocks on the way... at the same time I'm doing some more work on the truck... overhead console, rear bumper/tire carrier, rear axle swap, CB and antenna and a whole lot of electrical work...

I'll let you know how it goes,

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND SKIP INSTALLING THE SHOCK BOOTS........

All they do is collect water and then rub the paint off the shock and you are left with a nice muddy dirty rust spot.....its better without them........

should of told me.... I have three spare red shock boots...
:)

I just bought the Skyjacker 6" lift minus the pittman arm, is it still for sell, and if it is will it also fit with an additional 2inch body lift?

Tires and rims coming Sunday ;) Might have some centercaps for ya too.

Body lift has got nothing to do with pitman arm as steering box is attached to the frame...

FRONT PIG IS STILL AT THE SHOP!!!

Randy's sent wrong gears..... box was mislabeled...
GOOD THING THESE GUYS COUGHT IT.....
it would of been funny to turn 4x4 on and see driveline brake...
(rear turning forward and front turning backwards...)

truck still on jackstands... waiting for new gears to come in..
:(

It's always something... let me tell you. Now we found out that I got a locker that won't fit in the front case...

Randy's ring and pinion has kept my truck on jakstands for extra two weeks...

Today I have put the entire front end together though... truck is sitting on all four.... and tomorrow after bleeding brakes I'm taking it for it's first trip... around the block. Few small items need to be finished but it's just nothing compared to all the work that was done...

truck looks mighty good... hope it will perform as well...
:D

soon, soon, soon...

:D

here's a nice pic of my truck... just rolled out of the garage and washed all the dust off....

yeah, I know... I just washed those wheels a bid.... at least I got all the mud off them
;)

Truck rides a bit strange.... but it will get full alignment right after front pig installation... for now it's OK for me. BTW - front fenders will need a bit of trimming... I think I should of installed spacers in the front and shackles in the back... but I think I would have to cut the fenders anyway..

I'm glad it's almost all behind me... now it's time to have some fun!:bounce:

Damn dre, looks good. I'm still waiting on my extended brake lines, but other than that I'm done.

Did you herc your rocker panels? looks like something other than stock on there.

I did paint driver side rocker and a bit on the fenders to cover-up scratches made by mouldings... passanger side is still "virgin" - I'm gonna have to cut front fender a bit as I'm getting some rubbing there...
:(

other than that I drive it like that with no front differential... and no drive shaft there.. I need to weld rear axle perches...
