Well it has begun, removed the ball joints out of the spare set of control arms I have and will burn out the bushing to replace them with poly.

Clean up, fresh paint and all new again.

This pre-title mod shop used these seats in they're cars and trucks for many years, but used the web style head rest that were made ever so popular by Recaro:

Thanx, I'm not really rushing, just kinda putting along at a medium pace (kind of bored you might say :( ), just kind of got tired of seeing it sitting in the shop collecting dust, and since I have been collecting parts for it for almost a year, and seems as though the economy is being tough enough that no one is really buying cars right now for their value, I just decided I might as well start putting it together and probably start driving it.

I'll get my friend/body guy to slap some film on the windows, I'm really not one that likes to drive around with laundry vision, plus it will save face on what's left of the interior.

I have already obtained two tires and need to grab up another two matching ones to get the right size on the wheels, the ones I had in previous pictures are currently on the "Patches" the turbo coupe.

So really since I started by pressing out the ball joints, the next is to burn all the bushings out and revamp/revise the suspension and get it all taken care of, then get it alined.

I'll just keep poking at it in my spare time, not like it's going anywhere

Plus for me it always seems that I get more people wanting to buy my vehicles if I'm out driving them and minding my own business. (my truck is a prime example of this)

Jeff -

haha yea back when i had my ranger people wanted to buy that =p leavin notes on the windshield was classic haha

Well on my quest, I found a complete "Take Off" 1985 GT intake manifold with period correct Holley/Motorcraft carb in excellent condition with all the tags still on it and no mods, so I removed the carb and installed it on the car, a little more tuning will be in order to have it spot on, but it runs much better than the "Out of the box" Holley 600cfm that was on it, so I'll pitch that carb in the net for re-absorb some of my cost on the intake/carb combo I got off Craigs List.

Also, rather than do a complete drivetrain swap on our 1985 4 cylinder coupe like we had planed, I ran across a gentleman whom bought a 84' Predator GT that needs a full restoration, and is missing a HUGE amount of parts, so we're going to dismantle our 85' GT rescued from a salvage yard, to help him get his restoration started, and I'll get a few parts off it to help complete mine also, such as the tail pipes (note the driver's pipe is a replacement), luckily I have the driver's pipe up stairs at my house.

Well, Tim already told me he liked the "Ten Hole" wheels better, which I can't blame him, but these 5 spoke "Pony" wheels don't look too shabby on it, so I'll roll them for a little bit, till I can get some new ribber to put on the factory "Ten Hole" wheels.

yup, def. like the 10 holes. however, the louver on the back window . you've been busy, dash pad on, cleaned up. looks good jeff. now when ever your ready, grab one of the shelbys (i'm not picky either), drive up, and you can help out with the capri! :p:

OH! the louvers are THE CAT'S ASS!!!!!

Been averaging between 17 and 18mpg which is a lot better than 10mpg in the truck for sure.

Could get a few more MPG's out of it, just need to dial it in a bit more.
