SLEEPER 1985 Mustang LX

James, I fixed your post on the Q-Junk ^^^^ IMHO the Thermoquad is better ;)

And Jeff, if Sue cought you doing that to her car she'd have you strung up next to Ben!

Sue's only problem was that I gummed up the quarterpanels. Her comment was, "Don't wreck it, and I ain't cleaning it!!"

Jeff, this thread brings back sooo many memories... in high school Phil had an 85(i think) GT350 with the 4V, 5spd, etc. God i loved that car.

Are you sure it wasn't a Predator??????
Nope, twas a GT350, same rocker bars as above, T tops, and tri-fan wheels. Holley 302 and a 5 speed. Pretty much unmolested other than some headers and a badass Nakamichi tape deck. :D

New best of 20.5mpg, next thing you know, I'll be having beerz with ALDIVE :p:

Jeff

21.8mpg working on the illusive 22mpg.

WOW, that dent in the driver's side fender reminds me of the 4spd swap at Bruce's when the 4x4 broke in the rafters almost dropping the engine back in the car from about 5 feet up.

That would be a nice car to restore for sure but wow it needs a lot.

Well funny thing, check out this months news letter from out local MCA chapter here in the Austin area, called MOCA (Mustang Owners Club of Austin)

http://www.mocatx.com/newsletter/archive/2010_05.pdf

and here's the web site for MOCA:

http://www.mocatx.com/

Go figure, take the car out to it's first 250 mile public cruise with our club and I get COTM, I guess they didn't get close enough to it to really see the paint, and I motored at the back of the 27 car line up, I was the only *cough* 4 eye car there, along with 2 other areo foxes, damn I had all that termanology.

Traded one of my three sets of factory Ten Hole wheels for an obscure set of Austrailian ROH ZS 16x8 wheels, although my wife doesn't like them so much, I think they look pretty good.
