Slim line vs. Standard ballast pics

So back in 05, I retrofitted my truck with BMW headlights. In the kit I bought came the stock ignitor and ballast as well. Well with my tax money, I decided to switch out my crappy-filtering stainless steel filter with a amsoil one. The amsoil was bigger and longer so the ballast for my HID was in the way. I ditched the stock BMW ballast and ordered a slimline ballast and D2R adapter. I tryed to put the ignitor and ballast side by side so you can really see the sizes of each. Look at the size difference!!

Now im anxious to see how long that tiny ballast lasts. We shall see

do you have a picture of what the lights look like. i am kind of curious.

Those newer slimline ballasts are a lot smaller if seen in person, suprising they do the job just as effectively.
