94 x a4ld with 80,000 on rebuilt transmission. 230,000 on truck
Had 1,2 shift problem when cold, but now does not want to engage in reverse
or 1st gear from a dead stop. Will engage when revved up a little bit and then makes
a shuttering vibration and engages. Once moving, shifts fine, drives fine, only
at a dead stop does it make the shutter. Fluid level is good. No fluid in vacuum line, adjusted the bands and they were okay; made no difference. Any ideas of
what could be happening (valve body, servo, torque converter) ??????
