Just curious if anyone else has encountered this. When it is cold (45 degree F of lower) when stopped in traffic i can see some slight smoking coming off the front of the truck. No smell or anything just a little bit of white smoke. At first i thought it was the car infront of me exhaust but its not. This is beginning winter year 2 of owning my 2014 explorer.

Like i said, not sure if anything is wrong, no smell and no other signs of bad things. Is this a normal thing? I come from jeeps and never seen this. Thoughts?

It's not "smoke", it's fog. Just moisture condensing in the cool air after evaporating off the warming engine.

thats what i hoped lol. if its normal then i can sleep better haha. thanks

I'd say it's normal, but you say it's coming from front of vehicle.

Any condensation/steam/fog should be coming out of the exhaust at the rear.
Wind blowing from the back could make it look like it's coming from the front. Did you have a tail wind?

Or there could be an exhaust leak at the front.
