AH thanks much. I really don't understand what is the difference between that and the regular 4.0. In other words I have no idea what it means or the advantages of it. Would some one explain. Thanks much for the help.

The SOHC has cams in the cylinder heads which reduces the # of moving parts and friction. It also keeps the valvetrain in better shape over time.

The OHV, or over head valve 4.0 is a traditional engine design with the cam centrally in the block above the crank. The cam moves lifters, which move pushrods, which move rockers, which move the valves. Lifters and pushrods tend to wear over time.

That's what I ran at 90 degrees, 25 mph headwind, 33s, safari rack, and full 4800 lb weight (approx).

with s/c, no funnygas.

the rack alone added about .3 seconds at least, the tires over another second.

W/ or W/O S/C?

LOL it HAS to be with an S/C...no way in hell a OHV would run that time with all that stuff without one...

Yup, you should run about a 14.7 with the s/c I'm guessing.

My old Volvo ran a 73.08 @ 12.6 mph
