so the guy I bought my ex from had the bright idea to cut the rear fender off and now I have one normal side and one cute side and I was wondering if you guys had any ideas for what i could do to make them symmetrical and still look good. I'm thinking about cutting the other side off then getting two things of sheet metal and cutting them to the stock specs and welding them on, but if theres any other way i could do it, I'd like to know

Youd probably be best off just cutting that section out if another ex in a junkyard and welding that in, that way you can use the body line for a reference and get it back together nicely
Why would someone cut one ¼ panel off what looks to be a stock ex like that anyway?

if i did that would i be able to use one from any 95-01? and it is completely stock so i have no idea what was going through this guy's head, even if he was going for a pre-runner truck rear end he cut it the opposite way. but thanks that sounds like a way better idea

Agreed. Have a piece welded to it from another explorer. Any 95-01 should work. (maybe even 2 doors, not sure though). Just cut the piece bigger at the junkyard so it can be trimmed just perfect before welding it.
