I have a 3” body spacer lift on BTF control arms,
i’m in the process of extending my steering shaft for my 3” body lift,
and today I found out you can use expedition quick lift struts on these explorers? with modifications of course.
if this is the case, and i’ve seen it work on a few explorers; what are the downsides of having a maxed out suspension then adding that 2.5” from the quick lifts? i’m already eating through CV axles and i’m willing to throw some more money down the drain to have my explorer that lifted.
i don’t want to solid axle swap JUST YET. I can barely get my vehicle inspected now, but it’s lowkey now because most SUVs on the road are massive. I don’t want to dead giveaway to state troopers that I solid axle swapped an explorer for a nice impounding.
