I just discovered that this was the case, is there a similar kit out there?

Do they not sell them new anymore? Try a few places looking for back stock?

Just checked the superlift website and yes it's no longer listed under the explorer. Buuuuut the 2000+ ranger kit is on sale which is the same front end as explorer. You'll just have to figure out the rear lift (go SOA).

Rough Country just releaased a 4" drop bracket lift for 98-11 Rangers at $1000 with extended knuckles and shocks it looks to be a good alternative to the Superlift

Hey I happen to have a couple of question about lifts. So I’m running a 2002 Ford Explorer Sport (2door) that is 2wd. I’m dying to lift it! Maybe some lift off road trails and sorts for camping. I’m looking to get a 4-6 inch lift. In suspension for the rear I’m going to do a SOA and maybe shackles with of course the extended brake lines and new longer shocks. But I’m not sure what to do in the front. I know I can go with Fabtech spindles and those are a 3.5 inch lift but I need smaller brakes and then brake lines.. but how would I get up to 5inches in the front without doing a TT because it makes me have a stiff ride.?

if you do the spring over in the back and no shackles
Do fabtec spindles up front and adjust torsion bars to level it out you will have a factory like ride
You will need to extend sway bar links and get some shocks
