I've been having a slight issue with voltage drop at idle. I've narrowed it down to an old alternator to solenoid wire. My problem is I can't find one to buy it.
I've searched online at all the parts stores including RockAuto and Fast Parts Network to no avail. This is the main wire that runs from the alternator to the solenoid on the fender, and it has a fusible link at the solenoid end of it. I would like to find one made for this purpose ideally.
If I can't find one I'll just buy the wire and ends and make my own, but I like the pre-made cables for this purpose better. If I have to make my own, what would be the preferred gauge of wire to use?
