I just installed new Pioneer TS-A6880R speakers in the back doors of my 2000 Explorer and they only play bass and nothing else. I am out of ideas on why this could be because if polarity is messed up that it would play anything but bass. I also installed TS-A6870R speakers in the front and they play fine. Could it possible be speakers? Thanks for any help.

what HU do u have, it could be the HU but most likely it is the speakers, they probably shorted out due to some manufacturing error. but it might also be the deck, test another pair of speakers 2 see.

if you have a pioneer deck and have fie or crossover on the rears wont do much.

The problem was that my pioneer headunit had the rear speakers setup to be subwoofers. I didn't even realize that was a possibility. Thanks for the help guys.

ahh had a filter on it :) that was what I was going to reccomend and check
