Looking at all the Ford documentation I can find. It states that the ground clearance is the same from the base model explorer, all the way to the Sport. I keep parking next to other Limited versions though, and they look 2-3 inches higher. So tonight I drove to the dealership and parked ours nose to nose with a Limited, and sure enough, it was several inches higher.
I find it very odd that the documentation doesn't say anything about this.
