Ok I called the junk yard and they said I can't have the ones out of the 99 pearl limited because there trying to sell the hole collem. But he said he has a few more out there with the right years and he will give them to me for 30$ If I can find them I'm spending money left and right hahahaha. Money I don't have hahahahahaCHEERS

I will stop by there today and look and see with I can find

i've actually done it WHILE the truck was running....but hey, i like to live life on the edge! LOL!

You do realize that if an airbag goes off with you right in front of it, it could easily break an arm, shoulder, neck, or even kill you. Instead of slowing you from seventy mph it will accelerate you to it. Not a good plan.

k, everyone has flamed me on this. lets get back on HOW to remove the controls from a limited wheel.

Disconnect the battery let it sit for 10-20 mins. Then there are bolts behind the controls on the back of the wheel. Should be simple... From what people say. Cheers!

PS no controls in Alaska I can find with out buying the whole wheel.

Don't mean to burst your bubble there brian but, since....limited and EB steering wheel controls were only introduced in 98 models...none will work with ours....

Well, not true. The steering wheel is unique, but it also requires special dash wiring, plus the clock spring behind the air bag to work. You can buy the clock spring easily, but the dash wiring will need to come from a 98+ vehicle that has those controls in it.

if you can get me the stering wheel controls, the same as we talked about before! i just hope there as easy to do as the standard ones.

I can sell you the controls from my old 99 Limited wheel. I didn't use that wheel in my rebuild, I wanted the four spoked wheel. I saved the whole wheel, but it's dark gray and has a small group of scratches at the very top from the windshield. I'll ship the switches for $25. The right ones are nearly perfect, and the left are nice or pretty good. Regards,
