Steering Wheel Radio Control

I have purchased a Pioneer AVIC-D3 for my 2006 Explorer along with the PAC adapter to make the wheel controls work. My concern is the adapter harness that I got does not have any pins or wires for the steering wheel controls and I really do not want to hack into the factory wiring. Anyone know where I can get an adapter harness that has all of the wires?

Does the AVIC-D3 have a wired remote input?

yes it does

Have you plugged in the adapter and tried it out? The adapter sends the signal to the head unit through the wired remote input.
