Ok here it goes, i just replaced my whole cooling system because i had a

serious leak that i thought was coming from the water pump! after i finished

puting everything in (water pump, thermostat, hoses, fan, radiator, etc.) i

found that it was still leaking. so i got a pressure tester and found where the

leak was coming from. It's coming from the area underneath my alternator, i

think it might be coming from the exhaust manifold, right where it meets the

head. thats what i looks like. My question is: Is there a seal around that area

that could be leaking, or does it sound like a cracked head. PLEASE SOMEONE

HELP ME I JUST SPENT $500 AND HAVE NOTHING TO SHOW fOR IT! MY EXPLORER IS 1991 4.0 4X4 please message me back

This is not the explorer's fault, but hey at least you have an all new cooling system

Sounds like your head gasket or head is toast.
only away to find out is to take the head(s) off.
The 93+ castings are much stronger then the 91-92, so if you replace the heads use the 93+ ones

Right on bro, thanks for the information!
