subs to the back or front ?

Thats the exact reason i refuse to put subs in my X. Everyone and Anyone walking by your car can see what you have in it; there is no way to hide them unless you get your windows tinted 100% which is illegal. Im to afraid of dishing out serious money on my X then having some fool with a rock threw the back window take all my gear

Ok first off. My windows were blacked out. You could not see inside the truck. I was set up. It was at the body shop outside the gate over night and it all got jacked. Second off, in Suv's in my state (Al.) you can have your windows as dark as you want behind the driver and passenger windows. Meaning 100% if you want is perfectly legal with the front two windows sitting at 32%, which is the legal limit where I live.

And Expo is right. It worked out for the better! :)

another option is insurance...

not many people get everything covered etc., but it can be a great idea to get an appraisal and have everything truly covered.

NICE!
I now have 2 8w0's that I am trying to get into my front foors without looking crazy. Am having to rebiuld the whole door panel! Have figured out what I want, but can't figure out a way to mount it to the door with being able to take it back off later...in case a window motor goes out. Any ideas?

Can you say "thread hi-jack". LOL

Ok, end result for this thread. Face them at the roof or at the rear hatch, don't face them forward.

I recently installed my Two 10"s in a bandpass box. I was testing in which orientation the box sound louder. I Discovered:

Firing to the back and firing to the roof would give you the best bass. Also , firing to one side would give you great bass, but not as loud as firing to the roof.

I covered my woofer enclosure with the same color of the upholstery in explorer. Its harder to see.

i have mine pointed to the back, i only have one 10" pioneer, but know people that mount that everywhere possible, and i cant really pick up which way it sounds better, the louder i play it the better it sounds... period lol

im going to build it...
That's a good thing because I was going to harass you if you didn't seeing how you fabbed your own cowl scoop from metal.

hahaha..right...just got me a amp off kcsr also .. so ill be geting going on it here soon...

I havn't even started my box yet. Hell I havn't bought the MDF yet. Even if I had everything it is to hot in the garage to work on it.

hell i know that ! and just think it going to go up ever day , i think up to 104 they said !
