you dont know what setup i did that in either do you? or frequency the box was tuned to? a 147 is much easier to do in a box tuned to 45 hz than tuned to 30 hz. and that was with my kicker and my measly MA audio amp when i first started getting into audio. anything after that was bassrace because i would always be put in a class with burp machines and that's a waste of an entry fee to me.

hahahaha you can throw out audio brands...big whoop. i wanna see proof of this setup with 10k to them. i'm not gonna bother researching it myself. and i dont care how 'smart' you are, i dont see anyone putting 5x the power or more to ANY sub daily and having them last.

and no i dont run stetsom. nice amps, but i've heard too many horror stories from running them daily (and just as many of them fine for daily) so i just stay away from em

x10 on end all be all spl sub. quality is there like any alpine product...but i wouldnt go to spl comps with em

Type R is a helluva sub though...I had one 12 Type R in a T-line in my exploder running off 1200 watts rms...beat the crap out of it all day. No joke it was loud as my friends two CVX 15s maybe even louder...enclosure goes a long way.
