Suggestions for $50 or less?

Cut it up into tiny pieces and then see if you can cut all the pieces in half enough to make it disappear

So I got this $50 prepaid gift card in the mail today. Don't know what to do with it, so I decided what the heck I'll spend it on my explorer....but....I have no ideas... SUGGESTIONS PLEASE!!!!

Here's what it currently looks like, so any suggestions are welcomed, must be under $50.

A set of f-150 tow hooks are a good mod that would fit into that budget

I am thinking of seeing if the junkyard has a f150 with some towhooks...get them even cheaper than online :)

First thing I bought...and have been meaning to for a while is a repair manual...and next is a tank of gas...

Now this one made me laugh out loud and fall on the floor:bounce:

No hard feelings Nate...it just made me laugh:biggthump

As a parent I say this would be a great investment
I might be shocked the day my kids actually spend money on me.

Ohhhhhhh I have a good one get those door handles painted to match the truck seeing as you dont have the plastic molding it would look sick.

Good thought  ...maybe later on this year when I get access to a paint shed. :D

It makes it look like a limited or premier air you paint em

I agree. Mine are the same color as my X and I think they look good. Of course, I have the molding that doesn't do it any justice but I will be painting that black so that should sharpen it up a bit:

See on rondo's X the texture is smooth. My X they are rough plasticy material. So painting mine may not look good :(

Mine are factory. I'm assuming they are smooth so they match the body with the texture and the color. You may be right assuming that painting yours the same color as the body might not look so good. They look like they are in pretty good shape so painting them black might be a waste of time and money. Good luck in the $50 challenge!

Already spent half of it. Decided to get myself a repair manual. I've learned a lot from it, and I hope to start being able to put the repair manual to use. As long as the plastic door handles look good thats the way I plan to keep them. I would get them painted like the color of the car, but not worth the hassle of it.

$25 down, $25 to go, the quest continues........................

Well the last $25 buys dinner tonight :D

Next project for my X, besides the mirrors...probably exhaust or rims :D

Case closed. On to the next quest...........

Is that horrible trim bolted or fastened on by anything more than that uber-tacky adhesive? I want to get rid of mine, but if it is gonna leave holes, ill just paint it.

I believe if you remove it there will be holes, I plan on Herculining mine next, but now I am a bit reluctant after reading the Hootus thread, lol.
