As you can see above, the threaded part of the stud/bolt broke off when I was tightening it. I was in the process of installing new front shocks. This is is on the passenger side. It broke when tightening. I didn't put THAT much pressure on it.

How do I remove the stud/bolt to replace it? Or, do I have to get a whole 'nother arm assembly?

It's probably good it broke now instead of later when on the road though.

this is pretty common :)
There is a fix for this, however I am not sure if it is a new bolt or a kit...
Do a search it is discussed on this board often....

mine did the same thing on my 94. I just ground the broken stud flat then drilled and tapped a hole into the shock stud deal and put a bolt and fender washer on it to fix it.

Howdy again. Thanks for the suggestions. My dad took a look at it, and he also advised me to grind it down, drill a hole, and replace it with a bolt. I'm in the process of doing it this afternoon. Thanks.
