Tailgate light on 03 XLS?

Anyone have any pictures of an under the tailgate style led strip on an explorer? Is it even possible? Thanks

Yes, it's possible.I have one on my 04 XLT.Here's a pic:

Yup, that should be easily possible. I remember my explorer had the perfect gap for it. Just make sure you put a regulator on those LEDs. I have seen SOOO many of them with burnt out LEDs or sections.
