Thats probably how i blew mine... just happened tonight on the way home from work. i smash the gas in all day every day. its fun when you have flowmasters. but im paying for it now :(

...Welcome here..:D

...Yea..I haven't smashed the skinny pedal.....Let's just say I can count on one hand how many times I mashed the gas pedal since the day that happened..

..Every time I have though it's amazing how quickly I remember having to do this repair..

Thanks for the welcome :)
I have been fond of this forum for a few years. never had any good advice for anybody and all of my q's got answered for other people so i never created an account.
Im young and broke so im hoping i can just pop this seal in there and not have to touch anything else... ive never worked on a tranny before.

...I'm not a tranny guy at all but this thread has a ton of info..

..I just asked for the best replacement part I could find and put it in, "re-staked" it as shown in an earlier post, and that was about it..The old "new" seal was already showing heat wear signs

..Pretty simple repair in hindsight considering where it's located...It's been a couple years now and without romping on it, I haven't had an issue since..Hope yours goes as easy..:biggthump
