Hello off road enthusiasts. I'm Jim from Springfield and although I'm not an "off roader" I am a "rock 'n roller" which is why I'm here. I have a band called SideFX and we will be performing on Saturday, May 30th at the pavilion. My gang covers the classic rock genre from the 60's through the 90's and a little modern and original stuff too. To make the most of this event and to enhance your enjoyment, I'm opening up the "request line" to get your feedback and learn your interests. In other words, what do you want to hear! I'll be checking back frequently so give me some ideas and a little time to bring them together. Looking forward to seeing everyone Saturday the 30th.
Rock on, Jim

Hi--great to hear from you!!

While I do not mind cover songs--I do feel I have heard "turn the page" enough to wipe with it--lol

I am interested in hearing original work myself. As long as it isn't country western music--:D

Looking forward to hearing you play.

Since your female vocals are so strong, I would love to hear "Barracuda" by Heart! I realize you have "Crazy on you" already in the set list, but this is a fast, fun, and short song.

I went to see Side FX play this past Sat night, and I am so pleased with them. This will be such a pleasure to be able to listen to them at our SMORR event.

Rock on Jimbo!

welcome jim

as long as it's loud, and proud,, it's all good,, just no freebird,,, ugh,, not again,, ,
anything from AC DC< , to Zeppelin, will work,,

If you think you can pull it off metallica is always good :)

Fade to black!

:)

Welcome

Thanks for signing up here to start the "request line," Jim!

Even though it doesn't quite fit with what you have said so far, I'll throw you a curve. Some of us have some cobbled-together rigs and, even if they don't like country, might appreciate Johnny Cash's "One Piece at a Time."
