Found this by accident on Natl Tire's website. This is ridiculous.

"This is a 1986 Pontiac 6000 on a 1977 Blazer Chassis. What a wild ride on Super Swamper Bogger tires (39.5"), sealed engine compartment, and numerous additions and modifications. The body sits atop 9" of brace from the chassis and the suspension is lifted 4". Suspension lift was kept low to combat drive train breakage and top heaviness. A beefed 350 and TH400 make it go. Plus it helps to run 5:13 gears with Lock Rights."

WHY????
Why do such a thing? Ok, the Blazer rusted out (nothing new) and they decide to put another body on it....................they choose an Olds?

Robb

Yeeee hawww! :spit-patooie: Hey Eugene, lets put that there old Pontiac body on the Blazer. We'd have one helluva vehicle when we take our coon huntin' trips.

With the frame that low those tires do him no good.

:barf:

this is WAY worse than the lifted camaro with front pumpkin and no front driveshaft that I posted a while ago....

At least that looked OK... but this - c'mon!!!!! ****ty body, low frame, and the way the body is way up off the frame looks sooo bad. This is a candidate for www.molestedcars.com

Too bad those are ground hawgs and not boggers. IF the guy cant even get the tires right, i wonder if he put the right gears and engine in the describition.

The builder should have just put a recliner on the frame. would look a lot better

WTF? Those cars are ugly enough sitting on their own frame, let alone atop a Blazer frame....:(

Seen worse

On my way to work over the summer, I always passed up an old mustang 2 (I think) that looked pretty much exactly like that and a lil bigger. It never moved from that spot, don't think he ever actually drove it. He just had it sittin out in his front yard... showin it off I guess, heh.

To me it look about the same as doing a 3 foot Body lift!

Maybe if I do that I can get 44" on my X........UM...NO!

Could be worst: The Blazer body over the Pontiac 6000 chassis (or unibody?)
:D :D :D

Cool and all but not functional.
This on the otherhand is still not cool but I saw it functional. It had 2.5ton axles and 44s. I saw the thing wheel, but still laughed at it.

the above posted wheeling camaro is maybe ok, but the pontiac 6000 was a pos! and blazers werent too bad, although still a chevy.... but why defile a blazer like that? at least put on a pickup truck cab and a flatbed.... but a 6000! WTHWTT?

a guy I know back home put a Mustand II body on a toyota 4x4 frame. He had 38's I believe and it looked just as ridiculous as the pontiac. If you are going to do things like that at least make it look good. Personally, I would love build a PT Cruiser up.
