So we see this puddle. We threw a rock into it to check the depth, and it didn't look very deep, so we get a good running start and go for it.
The best that I can figure out, is that when we hit the water it was so deep that it stopped us which caused us to stall.
There was about 7-9 inches of water on the INSIDE!!!
This water was freezing!!!
So the moral of the story is: always check the depth of the water BEFORE you go through it with a big stick or something(no matter how small it looks from the outside.
