tie rod end nut?

Anyone out there in Explorer-land that has an old castle nut for the front tie rod end?

Damaged mine and you cannot buy the nut anywhere separately.

the nut is sized M14 x 1.5 only used on the Explorer


If anyone has one they can part with or sell me cheap, let me know

I think I might have an old in my garage. I'll check when I get home in the morning but I'm pretty positive I have one.

Do you know the grade of the nut? I'm about to do an inner tie rod job on mine. To do that, I'll have to remove the outer tie rod end and its castellated nut . My understanding is that you're supposed to replace the castellated nut with a new one. I've found a M14 x 1.5 castellated nut at fastenal.com, but I'm not sure if it's the right grade (strength) of bolt.
