Well, long story short, I'm selling the Creepy Crawlers. I need a tire that is a 37 (would consider 36 or 38, but not any others). It's also gotta be a 12.50 for a 16" rim. Last but not least, I want a radial. I only decided on those Creepy Crawlers b/c of the deal, but without an awesome deal, there is no way I'd choose a bias ply for a DD. So my choices are REALLY narrowed down. :( I can get Super Swamper (Interco), Toyo, Cepek, and Mickey Thompson through work for cost, and I can most likely get 50% off Maxxis.

So it looks like I'm limited to the following:
-----37x12.50-16-----
-Maxxis Trepador (radial)
-IROK (radial)
-TrXus M/T (radial)
-SSR (radial)

----36x12.50-16-----
-TSL (radial)

Opinions?

1. They won't fit my 16s.
2. My dad is trying to convince me to drop down to 35s....but 35s are way too common around here, and 5 other guys at school have 35s. I'd prefer 37+ so that I can be the second tallest, and by far the most capable at school. (FYI: the tallest rig is a 2500HD on 40" Mickey Thompsons with black 20" wheels. )

Iroks all the way (even though the Radials arent as bad ass as the Bias...they are still awesome tires. SSRs should be a no go (Thin sidewall). TSLs are good, but the radials arent CLOSE to as good as bias as the center lugs are almost all connected. Trxus are good tires too, but they arent as good as an Irok

Thanks for the info. Got an opinion on the Trepador?

i have only seen them run on 1 buggy. Out of all the buggy runs ive been to he was the only one. He said he hated them because they didnt flex around as well and hug the rocks. They were thick as all get out...but perhaps that was why they wouldnt hug the rocks. My vote would be for the Iroks. Be careful though, i "think" they run a little big.

my vote would also be for the iroks. most capable imo. but the ssr's are rated best for a daily driver (from the reading i did on those choices)and the 36x12.50 tsl radials are extremely narrow. lugs very close together. have to atleast get a 14.50 to 15.50 wide tsl radial to get a little space between the lugs.

I wonder Who Is Gettin Your Creepy Crawlers Hmm?
Ohh Yea Me. Good Luck On Your Pick

Once I get a call back from my buddy who has the Maxxis hookup, I'll be getting a set of Trepador Radials put on. :D

Bruce - I think you should scrap that whole Dana 30 idea and find a nice Dana 44 to run under the Navajo...run the 37s on the Navajo instead. :D

yea i might sounds like a good one

yea well i just blew up my inner wheel bearings and snapped off my driver side auto hub so i gotta get that fixed ..that sucks cuz i have no idea how to do it .but i think i can try
