Hello all,
I have a 2008 Sport Trac with the 4.0 (4x4, 120k miles) that's showing signs of "death rattle" at some stage. Even though this is a very expensive repair, I'd really like to repair and keep the vehicle if at all possible. As this repair is way beyond my capability, I'll need a professional shop to do the work. I know of a local Ford dealership that will replace the timing components (cassettes, chains, etc.) for right around $4k.
I was wondering if any members here know of any other shops in Georgia (closer to Atlanta metro is even better) who are familiar with this common problem and can perform the work. Thanks in advance!
