Tips on A/C removal?

ok just got a call, said he can get a non a/c heater box from a ranger but its been customized to fit a v8?!?

Ok i got one, soooo it was super greasy and dirty and just plain out filthy. Also my wife started hollaring that every time you do something not stock you find more problems... well i did... but it was my old heater blower; it been acting up for a while. Found out it was bad. So here is the new non a/c heater box, cleaned, painted and detailed.

can be modded yes, the bottom right corner, i saw a modded one today, they cut the hell out of it!

haha yeah green is my color (same as shock boots and front sway bar), the 4x4 is actually silver with metallic flake in it same as the fan blower and adapter in the middle.

while i was i there i got a reservoir since my is modded, i threw this stock one in. cleaned it up at well, decided to use the silver with metallic flake on it to.

is it possible (easy possible) to switch our a/c/heater controls to a non a/c heater control? just to take the non a/c conversion even further..

That box isnt mod? Its different from mjne it has that dent at the corner.look at mine on the first page.what year it come from?

yeah i looked at yours ass soon as you asked, but the blower motor and where the a/c would be, all of those are the same (already tested). Not a dent, no stress marks from a dent. It was between 83-86 (cant remember exactly). the v8 mod is they cut a serious amount to make it flat and fit the v8

sorry, long night and not enough to drink yet... meant "as" but i guess ass works to, cause thats what i made of my self. Im hoping after the kiddos bday party and small bonfire wife has planned with for her friends is over, that ohio will still have good weather and i get to do it all... hopefully! its not very deep.

ohh im hoping so.. for me it means one step closer to the headers and exhaust fix as well. plus im gonna love the fact i can get to stuff way easier, did you change your controls on the inside (hvac) to a non ac set up?

Nope left it because i was going to use the ac options to turn on my fans,as a manual overide,but just put a switch in

i didnt think about it till you said that but pushing the button for a/c could be used as a toggle switch for something else?

Yep im going to use it as my W/M turn on!hey it still will act as a ac for my motor
