I need to talk to some guys who have had the tires replaced. If i have it done at a shop other then ford, and if i have bigger tires put on that is not on their "recommended" list will they leave me high and dry on this reimbursement? i think if I want to get a bigger tire I should be able to and pay the difference in price. If they won't let me change sizes, I'll settle for the origional size, but what if the tire itself is not on the recommended list? I want Wrangler AT/S, but only saw the RT/S on the list under explorer. the AT/S was under F150 I think. Anyone please help!

I have the same problem. I don't know what I'm going to end up doing. This is crap!

Ok, I have decided that I am going ot stick with the stock size, but will they still give me a hard time if I get the AT/S since it's not on the list?

Get what you want, don't settle for less!!!

I've had my tires replaced under the latest recall, check out this thread I posted earlyer it should shed a little light on the subject.

Someone may have already mentioned this, but wouldn't it be a better idea to replace the tires ourselves and get a refund from Ford? Try getting free tire rotation from Ford and you'll know what i mean. I would get the tires first, get them installed and save myself a little work and hassle....hehe....i'm such a lazy bugger. :-)
