will be shopping for a new set of shoes on my truck. currently have 134K miles, 60K on the tires. I replaced the original Michelins Cross Terrains at 74K miles, which impressed me. However I wanted a more aggressive look. My truck is 2WD and I obviously don't do any off-roading. I don't haul, but may look into getting a utility trailer in the near future. the truck is sitting on Bridgestone AT Revos 255/70/16, original rims and when they are new, the truck looks swol'...know what I mean?
These tires are awesome. Drove in Chicago for three years with no problems at all. The price has increased somewhat since I bought them 3.5yrs ago. I can't find them for less than $160 ea and I paid $142. I had two separate stores in my area recommend the BFG LongTrail Touring, which run for $124 ea. These are less aggressive in appearance and tread.
suggestions?
thanks
