Tires size 285/45/R22

I wanna get some tires that size 285/45/r22. Will I expierence any rubbing? Will I need to make any modifications to make that size fit? Or will it just fit good?

That tire is a 32x11.25x22... It depends on what generation Explorer/Ranger you have that will determine how much fender/splash guard trimming you'll have to do. But with a tire that wide you'll definitely have to trim if not lift the entire truck.

Reason asking because this guy is running 285/45 and said he has no rubbing and no aftermarket mods to make them fit

Also what size tire wouldnt be as wide but still have the same heighth side wall

255/50/22 is 32x10R22. Thats 1.25 inches less in width.
Thats the width of the stock tires on my truck.
